Hello, my friends! 👋
I’ve gotten to know many of you over the past couple years as I’ve put the Third Space concept into the Omaha / social media ether.
As you can imagine, the COVID-19 situation has put that giant business baby on a shelf for a hot minute. And yet, I’m still here with the desire in my gut to serve the working parents in the space between pre-baby to post-baby phase in a meaningful way.
So here I am, turning to the internet! 🤓
This newsletter write-up thing is meant to document and spark ideas surrounding the concept of a better work-life “normal” specifically for parents and the employers who determine their benefits packages.
There are a lot of people speculating about the post-COVID future of work, and I think this is an incredible time to re-imagine how we want work and life to interact in the “new world.” Besides, when else will we be able to bend the ear of a thousand employers in a more understanding, empathetic state of mind?!
Let’s dream up the future together. Let’s figure out what we want our lives to look like rather than living out what we’ve thought they have to look like.
There’s a new normal around the corner that’s going to be better for everyone.
Let’s figure out The New Box together, shall we? 💪

Now is a time for companies to step back and reexamine which traditional ways of working exist because of convention, not necessity.”

Job Share Connect
“We connect two talented professionals who want to pursue their careers, but want options outside of the traditional 8-hour day or 40-hour workweek.
We then connect those job share partners with progressive companies looking to recruit and/or retain top talent.”
Take note: job sharing is rising in Europe, so you know it will inevitably make waves here in the States soon.
